#Oleskool Night 2

My first #oleskool night was a resounding success. I enjoyed myself and have regularly gone back to my playlist on a lazy Friday or Saturday night. Once again, may sista GW, has come up with the goods. Here is my second #oleskool night.

Update: I’ve changed the width of the blog and the videos are now too wide for the post width. 🙁
Beginning with Do you wanna funk with me? by Sylvester

Love don’t live here anymore by Rose Royce

Private Joy by Prince

Love 1970s video clips and their special effects. This is Lipps Inc with Funky Town.

Kool and the Gang!!! L.O.V.E them still

Dance little lady dance by Tina Charles

You’ll never get to heaven by the Stylistics. Cannot believe this was from 1972. Such a cool song.

O.M.G… The Stylistics again with You make me feel brand new… Well I don’t know about “brand new” but i”m feeling somethin! WooHoo (and it’s the Karaoke version so sing it loud!

Still haven’t found what I’m looking for by the Chimes was one at the end of the night.

Great music that really says something – Stevie Wonder was/is deadly solid. This is living in the city

Everyone I know, has this album, Hotter Than July…

I think I listened to this song every single day of 1985… Bob Marley’s Legend.

Oh Chaka, there aint nobody as cool and lovely as you…

We all had this album as well – The Hardline according to Terence Trent D’Arby ..

This video is still insane decades later.

I remember dancing to this one in Cairns. This is Kool and the Gang’s Fresh.

Thanks to Gladys and YouTube for helping me to compile this list. Do you think there are songs that need to be added? Would love to hear what’s missing…

  1. Hello Leesa

I know this is an older blog but 'You to me are everything' by The Real Thing sprung to mind. In fact, I'm off to listen to it now.
