Nomad’s Palace at Eat Street Markets

Tonight Mum and I headed to Eat Street Markets in Hamilton. It was wonderful. I think the markets are only a few months old, and they’re nothing like you’ve seen in Brisbane before. They’re down at the wharves and they’re created with a shipping containers – it’s a container city!

My good friend Sam Cook is the only Indigenous stall holder, and has created Nomad’s Palace, a fully self-contained, eco-friendly and transportable, headquarters for global Indigenous creativity.

You’ll find artwork, books, music, clothing, all available for sale.

Today was also the launch of Groovy Granny, a range of jams that include Pina Colada, Peach Cobbler, Apple Pie and Carrot Cake Jam.
