Just back from two days away in Adelaide and three days out of the office. I decided to go with what I think is a classic black and blue with a splash of bold yellow.
I went straight for my old black cardigan – which is insanely comfortable and warm given how cheap it was. My navy top was one I bought from Autograph a few seasons ago. I bought green, a pink, blue and white. I’ve just retired the white one. They’re classic tops that work easily with jeans, trousers as well as skirts. Not that you can see it, but I went with my City Chic Pencil skirt from last year. It’s so lovely to wear, though I didn’t wear stockings or tights this time so I really noticed the zipper at the back. I teamed it with my knee high boots from Autograph that I bought about three years ago. They’re good boots – have just had the heel patched up once.
In writing this post I’ve just realised that no part of my outfit was less than twelve months old. Not feeling quite as bad about the fashion episode of the War on Waste episode now.
