Often, to function, my brain needs my body to be outside and my feet on grass.
Today I’m contemplative – my being is a little fragmented this 24 hours. And when I’m outside, just sitting on my front steps, I feel like I can keep my head better.
I don’t think I’d survive in a place where I couldn’t go outside regularly, or one that wasn’t more green than anything else. When it’s cloudy for too many days in a row, I often feel claustrophobic.
Winter isn’t easy, so thank goodness I live in Brisbane where the winters are pretty mild in comparison.
Today is a day to just breathe …
