I watched the most recent press conference with Anna Bligh and Julia Gillard.
But that’s it. No more for at least a few hours.
The images on the special reports are the same as they were a couple of hours ago. They keep repeating the same drama over and over again.
I’m stuck in Cairns right now and I can’t get back to Brisbane. There’s nothing I can do except call my mum a couple of times each day and make sure she is okay.
Yesterday I was stuck to my Twitter stream watching it all unfold.
Today I’m staying away. Going to take the kids for a swim and take some nice photos of the rainforest. There will be plenty of work to do when I get home.
