Tonight’s International Women’s Day Women in Business event at Pine Rivers was inspiring. After some informal networking with Nikki Boyd MP, member for Pine Rivers, there was a Welcome to Country by Aunty Maroochy Barambah.
Following that Minister Leeanne Enoch welcomed everyone. She left the podium and gathered all of us around her and presented an inspirational woman to woman discussion around the challenges facing women today, particularly focused on women in business. ‘The juggle’, capital, mentoring, and networking are issues that we all face while trying to grow our businesses and raise and care for our families.
